Privacy Policy
Overview
PDF Toolkit ("the App") is a desktop application developed by IAM_DEV. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information, if any, is collected when you use the App.
No Data Collection
PDF Toolkit does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Specifically:
- Your PDF files and images are processed entirely on your local device.
- No files are uploaded to any server at any time.
- No usage statistics, crash reports, or analytics are collected.
- No account registration is required.
- No cookies or tracking technologies are used.
Local Storage
The App stores your language preference in a local SQLite database at ~/.pdf-tools/settings.db on your device. This data never leaves your computer.
Temporary files created during conversion (uploaded PDFs and generated images) are stored in the ~/.pdf-tools/ directory and managed locally.
Log files are stored at ~/.pdf-tools/pdf-tools.log and contain only technical information about the App's operation. These logs are not transmitted anywhere.
Third-Party Services
PDF Toolkit does not connect to any third-party services, APIs, or analytics platforms during normal operation. The App functions fully offline.
Children's Privacy
The App does not collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the new version at pdf-toolkit.iamdev.me/privacy.html and update the "last updated" date above.
